Cayo Santa Maria stretches 14 Km at the western end of the inaccessible realm of low coral cays called Archipelago Sabana-Camagüey. It’s next to Cayo Guillermo and Cayo Coco. A 48km long causeway joins the main island to that cay. The cay is a paradise of white sandy beaches and shimmering turquoise sea that is always calm, thanks to an extensive coral reef. Several hotels are planned to be built there yet.
